The ABC's of Salvation Model
The ABC’s of Salvation Model
In conversation with a friend, colleague, or family member share the ABC’s of salvation. You can diagram it on a napkin or piece of paper. You could share it in an email or instant message, or social media direct message. This model is for someone with some knowledge of the bible and its message and claims and who is favorable to it.
Admit. Admit that you have sinned and fall short of God’s expectations. (Rom. 2:32)
Believe. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins (John 3:16 and 1:12)
Conviction. There is a conviction you need for repentance, confession, and baptism. (Acts 2:38, Rom. 10:9)
Ask the right questions:
“Don’t you really believe in Jesus, that He is the Son of God?”
“Don’t you really want to become a Christian and live for Christ?”
“When the Ethiopian eunuch came to believe in Jesus and came to the point in his life that he wanted to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, what did he do next? (Acts 8:34-39)
“You could make that very decision right now. Wouldn’t you like to do that this very moment?”
The simple, natural progression of questions has been used hundreds of times with people who have been ready and eager to obey the gospel.
